The fibre is a graded refractive index multimode fibre optimised for 10 Gb/s transmission speeds. It has a 50 micron core and a 125 micron cladding diameter. The fibre is designed for use at 850nm wavelength, but can also be used at 1300nm. Two 2.8mm tightly buffered fibres with a LSZH fire retardant, UV stabilised jacket to form a multipurpose zipcord. The Standard Jacket Colour is Aqua but other colours are available on request
